The Hebrew Corner was established by Avima Rudavsky Darnov and Allen Darnov to serve adults of Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean Counties who wish to learn conversational and/or liturgical or Biblical Hebrew as well as other related courses of study in a setting which is independent of any particular religious perspective.

We recognize that there are many paths to Jewish spirituality and Jewish identification. 

Our mission is to strengthen the connection of the Jews in Monmouth, Middlesex and Ocean Counties to the Hebrew language and therefore to the Jewish people and to Israel.

The Hebrew Corner is open to all regardless of religious affiliation. We approach religious issues from a pluralistic perspective.  The Hebrew Corner is not affiliated with or endorsed by any particular branch of Judaism. 

In addition to teaching Hebrew to adults, We provide instruction to those children whose needs are not met by traditional synagogue schools. We offer an alternative, creative approach to Bar and Bat Mitzvah which includes, preparation and officiating. Our Bar and Bat Mitzvah curriculum is well rounded which imparts Jewish values, history and Jewish tradition alongside Hebrew skills. We also provide enrichment to Bar and Bat Mitzvah students who are being prepared by their home congregation's yet require additional support.

The Hebrew Corner provides both group classes as well as private instruction. The Hebrew Corner will feature will feature periodic musical or community programs as relate to the subject matter.
