The Hebrew Corner in Marlboro, New Jersey is an independent Hebrew learning center where adults can study conversational and prayer book Hebrew as well as other related courses of study. Learning to READ Hebrew is only the beginning of the journey to a more intense connection with Israel, Judaism and Jewish culture. We will make use of laptop computers and CD-ROMS to enrich the learning experience. The “classroom” will be small, informal and supportive and geared toward the interests and needs of the students.


Our mission is to make the Hebrew language accessible for all who wish to foster their Jewish identity, Jewish experience and spirituality by strengthening their connection to this ancient, yet modern language. Hebrew is a KEY to understanding the Siddur (prayer book), the Torah and Israeli culture. Hebrew connects Jews all over the world to the People and the Land of Israel, and thus it helps form the “core” of Jewish identity. Our mission is to share the treasure of the Hebrew language with you and help you to make Hebrew, the language of the Jewish people, YOUR language. Music and the arts will be featured in a variety of special classes which will further compliment the classroom material. Our adult and teen choirs will focus on secular and folk Hebrew repertoire to be performed at area venues such as community centers, libraries and adult residences.
